Why towels? It is because you will always need them around your home. Why lace? Simply because lace is gorgeous and beautiful.
Why is lace always such a big deal? It is a material with a lot of holes but somehow it is very popular. Originally, it was made by hand. Women used to spend days and hours to make it and making it is a complex process. Today and after the industrial revolution, lace-making is mainly machine based. And lace can take many forms and uses many materials. For example, needle lace is made using thread and a needle while bobbin lace is made using bobbins and a pillow. Crocheted lace for example is lace that has a stitch resembling crochet knitting. Are towels a big deal? Yes they definitely are because they are a source of comfort and convenience at home.

ولماذا يحب الناس الدانتيل بالرغم من انه مليئ بالثقوب؟ في الماضي, كانت النساء تصنعه على اليدّ وهو يُعتبر مادة بغاية الرقي والجمال. وكانت تمضي النساء ساعات وساعات في صناعته. واليوم ومع الثورة الصناعية, يُصنع الدانتيل باستعمال الالات الصناعية. ويمكن للدانتيل اتخاذ اشكال وانواع عديدة باستعمال مواد طبيعية كالقطن او اصطناعية كالنايلون. مثلاً, من انواع الدانتيل الدانتيل الذي يُصنع باستعمال الابرة والخيط. وهناك نوعٌ يُصنع باستعمل مخدة وبكرة خيوط. والدانتيل كروشه هو دانتيل يشبه الكروشه.
ولماذا الاهتمام بالمنشفة؟ لان المنشفة هي من اهم مصادر الراحة في البيت ولذى لا بدّ ان نهتم بها.
